Always carry Ricola Soothing - trying not to sound like an advert, but they really work.0

The show must always go on, who said that?
Hope you get better soon Martin0 -
I found drinking orange juice all day helped me through when I had my cold recently. Are you taking your vitamin C Martin?
I can't take medication to help due to current medication I have to take
Get better soon. I hear Night Nurse will help you sleep so your body can fix itself.0 -
You need 10 days somewhere hot and humid.........0

Good to see someone else using the word "flumping"!
Ground root ginger mixed in with some warm orange juice is very good for the throat apparently... Get well soon.0 -
Get well soon. Too bad I didn't know you were going to be there, my mum would have popped over with some chicken soup. And a chat about money saving of course :-)0

Get some Vitamin C bombs down your neck - I swear by taking 3 x 1000mg tablets a day, I also take Echinacea tablets.
These measures must work because I haven't even had the sniff of a cold since November 07:D
Hope you feel better soon.0 -
Hope your feeling better.
My daughter is getting over a virus that made her feel off balance and dizzy must be a lot of it going around.
Hope your in bed with a hot water bottle.:DThe average woman would rather have beauty than brains,
because the average man can see better than he can think.
Many people's view of the world is down to their experience, perception and what they have been conditioned to,this isnt any old MSE reply this is a important and experienced MSE reply :rotfl:0 -
hi Martin, you could try a spoonful of honey to soothe your throat, just a teaspoon is enough.
If possible before bed have a bath to relax you, and put just 1 drop of lavendar essential oil at the top of your bed -no more than 1 drop or it will keep you awake!! Its worth trying, I've used that with good results in the past.
hope you are feeling better soon,
Susan0
