Does anyone know anything about Powabykes? Are they any use, how quick do they really go? Is it possible to take a second battery with you and change it while out and about? Would it be possible to do 40 miles on one of these without pedalling and how long would it take? Is there any model in particular anyone would recommend?

Does anyone have any personal experience of these? They are supposed to be a more green way of getting about, no fuel, tax, insurance? You can use them as a normal bike but if you are in a hurry you can use the charged battery as well as pedalling as far as I am aware.0

Thanks for responding! My hubby noticed one when he was out yesterday, it had the website address www.50cycles.com on it. I wonder is it any better or worse?
