No.
Everytime I get a postal order they insist it is paid for in cashStill wish I could buy a TARDIS instead of a house!0 -
I forgot to add. I've been in this situation and they way I got round it was paying by cheque and asking for cashback at sainsburys. I can't say they still do it as this was 1996. I'm not saying this is a good idea though.Still wish I could buy a TARDIS instead of a house!0

No it's not possible to prevent exactly this type of thing happening. Does he intend to borrow the money for 2/3 days this way or defraud his bank by signing a cheque he can't afford to pay.
The only way I know of is using these Money Shop type outlets with their "Cash till payday" service but they charge a lot (about 13%) and it is basically putting off the inevitable.0 -
well yeah the cheques gona bounce but his salary at end of month will cover it plus the bank charge,
mmmm i thoguht there would be somethign in place like this,
looks like he will just have to pay for his shopping by cheque like i advisedWannabe DFW NERD: Not fully fledged member yet !
