Removing name from Electorol Register

I've viewed my credit report and I'm registered on the Electorol Register at my current address which is good, but my previous address, it says registered - present. I moved out of here in 06/2004 so need to get this updated as it now looks like I'm registered at two different addresses.
How do I do this.
Thanks
Rachel

Speak to the assessor of the council area where you used to live, you should be able to find their phone number in the phone book or online.

I think you need to contact local council. You will need to re-register otherwise it may go against you if you take any new credit as they have no proof you live at the new address0

savemoney, I am registered at my new address which comes under Staffordshire, my previous address comes under Cheshire. I've had no problems getting credit since I moved to my new address in June 2006. I will ring Vale Royal Borough Council and see if they can get it changed.0
