This is a very benign form of cancer and should not affect your insurance.
However, it's best to let your insurance company know so that they cannot later claim that your policy is invalid as you did not declare all health problems!0 -
I had an annual policy with Norwich Union. I was diagnosed as being hypothyroid. I notified the Company and after a bit of iffing and aahing, they agreed to cover me for my condition.
This condition is almost certain not to cause any kind of critical illness whilst travelling. However, when the policy came up for renewal, they would renew but exclude any illness connected to hypothyrodism.
I was worried that if I did become ill abroad for whatever reason, they would find some excuse to blame it on my exisiting medical conditon. Consequently, I did not renew the insurance but took a policy out elsewhere which fully covers me.0 -
Yeah this is what worries me. They always find a back door don't theytravelover0

I know it seems like they will try and get out of paying if you declare that you have had any kind of treatment, but it will be much worse if you dont notify them and then try and claim for something. The terms of your policy will state what you need to notify them of and I guess something like this would be included. Don't forget not to would invalidate the WHOLE policy.
It should not make a huge difference to the premiums you pay, or may exclude some categories of claim, but it's hard to think of related things you would need emergency treatment for on holiday.0 -
