Thats a good price over £200 in most places

  • Just need to find out the height of the unit ( it's for a shelf ), and

if that height includes the little pc wireless ariel and if the cd door

opens upwards ( again no use on a bookshelf with another above it ).

Phoned all three stores in my area, all they stock is hifi systems under £80.

Can anyone confirm if they see this in stock anywhere? Planning to go down myself soon.

    Thanks.

They have it in Asda at Pudsey. I posted this offer last week in this thread http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1000857

Saw the dimensions on a few sites, but many manufacturers do not take into account any upward

opening cd mechanisms. Anyone seen the unit out of the box to see how it works ?

Sorry about the double thread muchus, I did a search 1st, but put in the wac3500d number.

If I cannot find out about the height, then this "beer" stuff might be a good second choice.

And, from what I can gather, in the open position , only adds about 15mm to

the overall height, so it would fit on my shelf no problem. :rotfl:

Nae bother. Was pretty tempted by this, and every time I'm in Asda I keep being drawn to it. they have a big pallet full near the entrance, but don't seem to be shifting very quickly. Maybe if I didn't have an iPod I'd go for it. But don't really listen to music much in the house, so could end up being a bit of an impulse purchase.
