With the current price of petrol too it would need to be within walking distance too:eek: things just keep getting worse and too top it all the weather is awful too:mad:

My 2 are in the house driving their mother up the walls as I speak:o Sometimes its good to work 9 to 5 :rotfl: but only sometimes;)

When (IF) the weather picks up make a few sandwiches pack up a picnic and take a ball and go to your local park;) my 2 absolutely loved this when we did it for the first time a few weeks ago and I have to admit to really enjoying it myself too;) and it cost NOWT;)

Time to do a sun dance:j
I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:

AS WELL AS CATEGORIES FOR BEAUTY, GOLF, RESTAURANTS, ODYSSEY, FASTFOOD, HOTELS, GYMS AND OTHERS, IT SAYS THERES OVER £3000 OF DISCOUNTS AND I WOULD BELIEVE IT, WE HAVE SAVED A FEW HUNDRED ALREADY. IT IS A NON PROFIT MAKING FUNDRAISER WITH MONEY GOING TO LOCAL CHARITIES.
IT IS £15 ON WEBSITE www.thelifestylebook.com but if you use promo code- action cancer -you get it for £10 and you can see all the offers on website before you buy, apparently they also sell it in the odyssey in choc-o-block.
hope that makes your rainy days a little better :T

I will leave it up to the mods to decide on this one, but the poster above has made 2 posts, both promoting that discount voucher book...

yep I noticed Anna had made those 2 posts as well, very suspicious! Anna that would mean the OP spending money before they do anything!

Know this is very un-pc and I'll probably get flamed for this but maybe you could take the kids to a park or somewhere similar, museum, get their mates over for a bbq, sleep over, make a treausre hunt, out on their bikes with their mates, picnic - yer know, low cost, sociable activities?

Apart from Bargain Hunter Anne SHOUTING all the time, I would tell her to bog off.

I have to apologise to Bargain Hunter Anna, as I now know she wasn't shouting or trying to spam the site, she was just trying to be helpful and as a new poster wasn't aware of the 'rules'.

btw, for the record, I personally don't mind if someone gives us a website link for us to peruse and evaluate although I'm aware that some may take it at face value. We all make out own choices eh? And rules is rules.
