Making skimmed milk cream

Flicking through the shopping channels one morning I saw a bloke make a thick cream that you can stand your spoon up in using skimmed milk and a Bamix stick blender. I was wondering if anyone knows how to do this without paying £120 odd quid for one!

You don't need a £120 stick blender!! I have done this in the past with the main bowl of my food processor and the normal chopping blade.. got shown it at the Ideal home Exhibition..
Once you've got it lovely and thick you can stir in some fruit pie filling and get a fruity dessert...
However it doesn't hold up like cream, you have to eat it there and then... it can't be used for cake fillings etc..0
