Argos Homebase are the same company and alot of Argos stuff is avail to order in store in Homebase so you can order on National 10% day or use the discount vouchers for 10%/20% they send in the post for spend and save card holders. I have bought a mattress from homebase and a coffee machine for 10% less than Argos prices.

Even better for us Argos employees who get 20% off at Homebase! I always check them first before buying anything!0

I find argos stuff in homebase slightly dearer????You may walk and you may run
You leave your footprints all around the sun
And every time the storm and the soul wars come
You just keep on walking0 -
Many people think that Argos are cheap. What I have found is that the only things that are cheap in argos are those that are reduced to clear. Otherwise if items appear to be cheap they tend to be very low quality.0

I dont find Argos that cheap either, sure there is some bargains particularly when reduced, and they are a handy store for me to get too, but I always look around first for prices to compare before using them0

That's probably the best advice. However you need to compare them to internet mail order prices as Argos are a mail order company.0
