Correct. It behaves just like an SBT credit card until 1st March. Just like a credit card you need to pay the 1.75% minimum payment each month but that is all.

Right now the money from it is cheekily sitting in my Cahoot savings account.

If you're going to apply for the flexible loan, however, you'd better get a move on. The 0% rate finishes on the 1st March next year and they're very slow in dealing with applications because of the demand.

You can say that again, applied on 5th November. Still waiting to get at the cash :-( .

Say I needed the cash for a new car or something...instead of stoozing ;-). Seriously though, their customer service is a joke.

    8) Stoozed £10k - earning 5% gross - in mrs cloud_dog's name ;) (no tax)

Whilst we are on the Cahoot 0% loan I think the loans T&C's require 31 days notice when re-paying the loan early. Anyone else care to confirm / correct?

  • Hi all

I've heard through some channels that this 0% loan offer will be finishing next Thursday 2 December and then will go up to their standard rate of 6.90%.

So if you are looking for the loan, I'd probably jump in now. I think Martin has a link on his page.

    Shonky - No I don't work for Cahoot :)

Not correct. From their web page: "You choose what's best for you - extend or settle your loan at any time."

I double checked the printed T&C and THEY have to give YOU 30 or more days notice if they want to terminate any of your Cahoot accounts, but not the other way round.

So who's actually successfully managed to stooze from this 0% loan from Cahoot?

And me and Mr k, some at 5.65%.

Don't forget, if you have maxed out the loan, to top it up after each minimum repayment. Every little helps ;D
  • Hubby got £10k very quickly.  I have been (technically) accepted for £7000 but see my comments on the other thread - "Re: 0% loan until 1st March - stoozing alternative

Useless at doing links, but think you should find it from there.

Sent off credit card account and PAYE notice of coding a couple of days ago, so now holding my breath. :-/

  • Just checked Cahoot web site, and I now appear to have a -£7000 flexible loan account - so cash should be in bank account by mid week.
