Hello! My Matsui DVD player from Currys has packed up after 3 months (I don't have the receipt....), so I need a new one as I have just registered for the Lovefilm 3 months free trial offer!
Does anyone know of one under £20, that would be reliable, maybe from a supermarket, or online, maybe a special offer somewhere? I don't need anything fancy, just something that works!
Many thanks!

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Did you know that it's proof of purchase required i.e if you paid by card, then a statement would suffice.0 -
I got a Bush DVD player in HMV for £15 for my kids. It's not the best but it's not bad either!0

I'd head straight off to Richer Sounds.0

Thanks everyone! I will have a look in Tesco later today, but I also have my eye on a couple on Ebay.....I really only want to spend about a tenner, as I seem to be very unlucky with my players!
I tried the Viking one, but it told me I had to spend at least £35 to get the dvd player.

they would keep the details of your purchase on file because they have to take them due to connecting the dvd player up to a tv for tv licensing laws0
