Strangely enough, I had a call from FD yesterday to tell me that there is a problem with my Equifax credit score but they couldn't tell me any more. I have always been in good financial standing and have requested an Equifax report to send to FD??0

Equifax have a 3 figure number on the front of everyones credit report. Brokers can determine just by this score whether or not it is worth submitting certain DIP's to certain lenders. A score of 350+ on equifax I qould say in my experiance is pretty good. I have never seen a score over 510 on equifax if I remeber correctly. so when you tell people youe "experian" score is 639 that means sod all to certain lenders as they may only use Equifax. Beware.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
