    To be honest there is no way our present mattress lasted as long as 12 years - we have simply used it for 12 years (possibly at the expense of OH's back!) – clearly a difference!

    What I mean is that the mattress you have bought appear to have a life of only one to two years.

    From what I've been told by many of my customers who have owned them, the springs collapse.
