shorten a url

after all these years..still don't know how to do it.

Don't want a tiny url style code, just how to do it like you guys that put

(for example)

"check out this page for superb offers"

Where unlike my example above you click on the word "this" and it takes you to the webpage :think:

When you write out a new thread there is an icon/picture of the world (blue and green) click on this, it will ask you what you want it to appear as, in your case 'this' and then it asks you to write down where you want it to take them ie http://www.google.co.uk
I think that makes sense!

Who do you recommend I store my images with?

I agree with Candice, lots of people on here use photobucket.

After forever I have registered. Had problems getting a username all my choices gone.

I take it i have to build up a selection of images up load them here. Then I need to work out how to get them from there to here. If you don't hear fronm me for a while don't panic.

ps where do you all get your pictures from. wine glasses,smiles and congratulation baloons etc
