Cheap Broadband!

Apologies if this has already been on the messageboard, or if it's on the wrong one (I'm a newbie, see?)...

NTL are offering 1mb broadband for £8.50 to customers who have the phone and TV with them. Not sure if you have to be paying a certain amount/month already, but I think (hope...) it's a good offer. Installation is free too.

The Internet Access board is where you should post it (though I'm sure the board guides will move it there anyway ;)

Hello Kitty jc and welcome . NTL include this deal in their 3 for £30 deal. This includes phone line, 1mb broadband and basic digital TV. They do charge for phone calls and extra TV channels. I received a flyer through the post offering this "for new customers only", and as an existing customer, thought it wasn't available to me. Then I thought, NO thats not fair, so I rang NTL & told them so ( I was paying £17.99 for my broadband). They agreed, offered me the new deal, and now I'm very happy. Incidently, I was also on free evening & weekend calls for £4.99, till I realised that ALL NTL calls are free at weeknds(local), so I opted for basic package( pay as you call) and now use 1899 for weekday calls and NTL for weekends, as advised by our "Saviour" Martin. So you see, if you read this site and use your head, you can save pots of money:j
