    I'm hoping it has worked now - I guess after the wait you are going to be disappointed in it now! I'm nothing if not determined though so if it doesn't work I'll keep trying til it does.

    If my little avitar doesn't appear on this message can anyone tell me why not? First of all it was too big so I played (I'm not at all computer literate so it's all trial and error) and I got it smaller. If it appears ignore this post - or ignore it anyway. I can't promise to go away and stop annoying you though!

    Have you enabled viewing avatars in your options?

    If not then:

    Click on User CP

    Then Edit Options

    Under the "Thread Display Options", you need to make sure that "Show Avatars" is ticked.

    Then click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom.

    Thanks Fermi, just tried that and it still doesn't show - never mind, maybe I'm not as determined as I thought since it doesn't seem so important now! Thanks for your help anyway.

    Dotty, try a Ctrl F5 at the same time. Its does a major refresh rather than a plain F5 refresh (theres a difference!) You may see it then.

    And I can see it!
