Hi all
Just wondered if anyone whose gone down the bankruptcy road was originally on an IVA?
The reason i'm asking is because i'm on an IVA that i should never have been put on (the only asset i've got is a £2k car) and i stopped making payments last JUNE. The company running it, Debt Free Direct, tried contacting me by phone twice in early Novemeber, but since then i've heard nothing.
Should i just wait for them to let me know they are putting me through the bankruptcy proceedure or could it look bad when i have to meet the OR and discuss why i didn't keep up the payments?
Surely it is their responsibility to chase me for the money or declare me bankrupt?
thanks in advance for any advise received0 -
Debt Free Direct wont BR you, they excluded doing so in there terms a conditions, they are a bunch of con artists IMHO, sorryThats it, i am done, Blind-as-a-Bat has left the forum, for good this time, there is no way I can recover this account, as the password was random, and not recorded, and the email used no longer exits, nor can be recovered to recover the account, goodbye all ………….

Hi Clanger69 - loads of people have ended up BR when they first started on an IVA. Why don't you post a new thread with a title of "Who's gone BR after IVA" and see what kind of response you get. You won't get much response in this thread.

Hey, congratulations Bat,:T :T
When the going gets a bit sticky any victory is worth revelling in. I'll have a quick cyber drink until such time as I can get hold of the real thing.
