I am sorry but "was" is the correct tense if you read my sentence - "when I first posted" - that it no way says anything other than that.....

I come in for a drink - first time I've visited this joint and what do I see glum faces - and all for the right reasons.

Peaches has been very useful to me and given good info and advice.
we all need support before, during and after BR. and the oldie members have helped create a bond and community that us newbies/semi-newbies find comforting. I hope MSE realises the community is important on this board moreso than most others. Hope we get PeachyP back.
