The Bankrupt Inn (Part Two)

Cold enough to put the heating on (gently!). And the damn windscreen wipers have stopped working on the car, so I can't use it in the rain.... Can't afford to fix it either.0

I always take an umbrella when I go to get my haircut - I like to make the style last a couple of days cause I can never get it looking like the stylist does. My daughter starts her hairdressing course next week so I should have someone to cut my hair for cheap only problem is she will do my hair the way she wants it not necessarily the way I've asked for it - she coloured it not too long ago and I had to redo it!

Spoke to the EA and he's supposedly in a bit of a huff because his 11am viewing didn't show. Doesn't give me a lot of confidence but it would be idealBSC Member 59 - AD 29th March 2008

Ekk my first car had no wipers. I didn't find out till a few months later when it rained either. I sold it not long after to some other 'idiot' who never tested the wipers to find out if they worked:oThe first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter0 -
Its not really something I'd think about testing. Usually you test the things that you've previously had trouble with - I just make sure the door closes! We used to have a car that the driver door used to just fly open!

My dad always checks the flooring.
He was chuffed to bits with his first car, but while driving it a few days later found his foot had gone through the floor.
It turned out it was rotten and someone had put papier mache on the floor to hide the holes :rotfl:The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter0 -
We just got a fantastic car last week, N Reg Honda and its only done 85,000 miles and its in pristeen condition. Its the same exact car OH had except its 4 doors instead of 2. Its his 3rd one like it. My car was repossessed months ago and its still sitting in my driveway. I wish they'd come and take it away.

They just siezed up. The back one is fine but the front ones wont move now. Tried WD40 and a spanner to loosen them, but it wouldn't surprise me if there was a little sod who has glued them down....
So, OH who knows nothing about cars at all (but being male he does know everything about cars....) believes it the motor and its going to cost hundreds. We still owe the garage £87 from last time.!!!0 -
BLTN - just noticed your signature, it fits in with what we're talking about.
