Red Magazine--Free Nick Hornby Book

Red arrived today with a free Nick Hornby book----"How To Be Good"

Magazine costs £3. Also sample sachet of Bourjois foundation

I bought the magazine but it had Anne Tyler's "The Amateur Marriage" with it great stuff, as I've read the Nick Hornby one! I think there is a choice of either book.

Yep, I got The Amateur Marriage as well, and that's the one I wanted (have read the Hornby one). Not bad for a magazine that cost me about 17p on subscription (6 for a pound)!

Myra, if you buy this mag anyway, you should think about subscribing when they do 3 for £1 or 6 for £1! :money:

Do you always receive the free gifts with magazine subscriptions? I was told that you only get the mag each month & no cover gifts as you are getting the mag at a discount.

It might vary from one magazine to another, but I've had quite a few free gifts with my magazines. With the 6 issues of Red, for example, I've had a bag and a make-up bag, plus this book.

Wow - I didn't realise they ever did! Thank you! I've looked and looked but only ever found "slightly cheaper" half-year subscriptions. Need to look harder on the magazine thread, I think.....
