How do people find loan sharks?

Yes i went to CAB, but i was already dealing with them, so they couldn't do much more.
I basically have to stick it out until the baby makes his appearance and we can claim the benefits , ctc etc.
They have negotiated with the council over our tax, who have agreed to suspend repayments until january which is quite a massive relief!
To be honest mse is much more useful for most things!

Starlite honey, before you buy a pram, please check out your local freecycle group on Yahoo, and ask if anyone has one they would give you. Could save you lots - on my one people are always giving away baby stuff.

In fact, I belong the three that cover my area, and as long as you give some stuff away too at some point, then it's fine. It's a great idea. Well worth checking out.

we have actually just got a brand new pram on ebay for £80 including delivery, but someone on another thread mentioned freecycle so I have joined and will see if I can get any other baby essentials from there.
we have done pretty well buying 'bundles' of newborn clothes on ebay at dirt cheap prices, as they wear them for such a short time they are good as new, and the things I don't like have been taken to charity shops

Don't buy any more clothes yet! You may get given loads! Most of us seem to be, even from people we hardly know! Also DON'T cut labels of brand new stuff until you're sure it's going to fit / you're going to use it - take them back to shop and exchange for bigger size! (The most helpful givers are the ones who give you the receipt as well as the gift, then you may be able to get a refund.)

Also, why not re-sell on Ebay what you don't want rather than giving to charity shop? You're desperate for the money!
