I agree with the above, specially the clothing! And the phones.

Also, its a bit weird you're up to date with CapOne whilst in default with the others. I don't really see the point of this. Try them with your circumstances and to freeze interest & accept a lower payment.

Pretty sure CCCS and the like would insist on treating all your creditors fairly, ie default and make arrangements, or offer an arrangement, with all of them not just some.

Again this is high. The whole family needs to economise while you get these debts paid off. IT's hard, I know, but could they just do a bit less? This is £1080 a year!
    Hope that helps x

If you speak to the scout troop they should be able to reduce the costs of trips and other outings and subs. as under the scout por you shouldn't be excluded from trips camps or scouts for finincal reasons. so have a quite chat with the leader or group treasurer.

(fairly senior volunteer in the scouts)

OK, here are a few thoughts, but please remember that we all have different priorities so what I think should go might be of vital importance to you!!

The ones I think you need to look at are:

    Telephone/Mobile/internet = 57.50
This seems very high for a month. Do you really NEED the internet? Could you ust it for free at the library? Could you get a cheaper deal?
Cut down on phone calls and texts - I keep a diary of my mobile useage so I really question if I need to send a text, or if it can wait till I see the person.
Phone - don;t know who you're with but look at the telephones board for ideas about cheaper suppliers.
I don;t have internet, and spend around a tenner a month on Onetel landline, and a fiver on my mobi.

    Pet food/insurance = 42.40
Not sure of the breakdown on this, but do you really need the insurance? Or could you put the same amount into a savings account and use it if/when you need to? Can you cut back on their food? I don;t mean put them on a diet, but buy cheaper brand?

Clothing me and kids = 180.00
Every month?!?!? Come on, you cannot afford to spend this much, and Ebay is a great source of clothing. Also, you can sell their old stuff there to make some money. This really is way too high for your current financial situation.

school/scout trips including residential trips and scouts yearly fees for 2 boys = 90.00

    Hobbies = 11.75
??? I gave up my salsa classes because I couldn;t afford it. I know it's depressing but you need all your cash for your debts.

    Charity = 3.00
Can this go on hold for a while until you are sorted?

    Xmas club = 25.00
Supermarket xmas stamp club = 8.00
I know these can be a great idea, but I wondered if you would get a better return by putting them in a high-interest instant access account like ING, and then you'll get interest too. But well done for planning ahead.

I haven't said anything about your food bill cos I don;t have kids and don;t know how much it should cost, but check out the old style boards for help in eating well on the cheap. I live alone and spend £60 a month on food.

Even on your figures, I make it £41.75 spare a month, or is the £15 pocket money each not a total?

I think you shoudl be able to find a good few extra quid by making a few changes.

    Hope that helps x

The internet i can go to the library i guess it's just across the road, it's just that i do a BBC online course. I will consider losing it then. My mobile is £19 a month which gives me 500 texts free a month. I mainly text, but i can't change it until my contract runs out. My landline phone is with BT but i use the 18866 service.

Pet insurance i need as my little Jack Russell has already been to visit the vets three times and she is only 10 months old  I only feed her on good dog food which has no preservatives or colouring.

Your right on the clothing, it includes, underwear, bed clothing etc..trainers i'm forever buying as well..but yes i guess i can cut back, thats why i said i will consider ebay or charity shops for their clothes, and mine.

School trips cost me over £1000 this year, so next year i've told them i can't pay for them to go, so this will save me a lot of money. I need to continue with the scouts though as this is an important activity for the boys, although the leader has said i may be able to get help from the boroughs fund as they set an amount aside for things like this for low payed families..

The hobbies i guess i can cut out

For the Xmas club do you know of the best high-interest instant access account like ING there is i can look into?

The food shopping includes all cleaning stuff etc as well. I will not feed my kids on processed box stuff or frozen rubbish so i get my meat from the butchers..but i will look into the healthy eating on the old style board..

Thank you ever so much..

I do this because once the debt is paid, i want to keep the card for once i'm working. I can't spend on the card as my brother took it away and will only return it when i'm working and my debts are paid off..

    Debt-free and Proud!
    It's a pleasure.

REf mobile - I don;t know if they still do this, but I am on a Virgin tariff, pay monthly, that has no line rental at all, and I just pay for what I use.

I have an ING account, and although they are not necessarily the higest interest rate right now, it is a consistent high-performer. Many of the higher ones are for six months and then they dro a bit. I use it online and chuck money in and out all the time, and find it really good, but I think there's a board about these accounts you could ask on for the best advice.

I think you're doing almost everything you can, so well done! Old style wil help you save money on anything - they are fab over there! And they are dead against processed food, too.

"The food shopping includes all cleaning stuff etc as well"

I'm sure my missus spends more on cleaning stuff than on food. On the Old Style Frugal board there's loads of info on this. I think all you need is a big bottle of vinegar for most cleaning jobs!

Anyways best of luck to you...

Oh I'm forced to watch that too = gross!!

If you're into cleaning and organising (like my OH is) then you'll find cleaning and organising your finances equally as satisfying.

I think we've found some ways to help you help yourself so now you can make a start and you will begin to feel better, bit by bit and day by day.

    Good luck again.
