Asda/Tesco promo

I thought tesco were going to do a promo similar to that of Asda over the weekend, with the butter and bread, does anyone know if this will happen or have i missed it???

They have reduced alot of their stock but it's not quite like Asda's 50p sale. Tesco have got alot more knocked down though.November Grocery Challenge - £300 - Total so far £0.000

For instance I got their clothes washing liquid, the concentrated one, for £1.69 ish rather than £2.99. Also lots of really good reductions across the store and not on 'smartprice' stuff.0
