Second sky subscription

Unfortunately I'm a stargate adict.
Some of you fans out there may be aware that the new seasons start tomorrow and (fortunately) I've already seen upto the half season thanks to some american friends.
Fortunately though, the second half airs here about a week earlier here than america (gawd bless their half season breaks!) and I'd like to be in the position to record them during the next few months.
My parents own sky, but unfortunately are not stargate fans. Since I'll be out doing charitable things (scouts on a wednesday and st johns on a tuesday) I'll miss them every week, so I've told them that I really want to record 'em, but since they want to watch old repeats, would they mind doing it on their box for the next six months! I then sneaked in an alternative measure 'why don't we sign up for sky plus AND a second box subscription which I'll pay...'
Suddenly I'm allowed to drill holes in the wall...
Any advice on how to wring the best deal out of skys neck?

There we go - upgrade of £49 to sky+, then £10 a month for channels for me!

Gah, stung @ the last hurdle - didn't read carefully
If you're getting +, you'll have to fork out for two premium channles (we chose movies) at a total cost of £15 or alternatively pay £10 a month for no reason at all...Tim0
