don't know how many of you are aware of this, but i thought i'd share it anyway.
if you take money off coupons/vouchers to asda, they'll accept them as long as they sell the product- you don't actually have to buy it. they won't accept more than 3 coupons for the same product though.
i went shopping last week and my checkout total was £49.26 - after they scanned through all my coupons, i paid £6.32

;D
13 carrier bags of shopping for 6 quid. not bad eh?

Nice one! Most Asdas will only except 10% in coupons - interested to know how you save £50+ on Sainsburys - cos they don't except coupons unless you bought the product!0

my local asda will only accept 3 coupons with any single shop.
not sure the wife would like to do several trips tocomplete shoppingsmile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

The £50+ Sainsburys "statement" is actually a link to a site called "cash-master.co.uk"
Can't see where this is supposed to save you £50 from anywhere that I can see.
Also according to the info at the bottom of the page it has not been updated since March 2004.There are 10 types of people in the world. ‹(•¿•)›(11)A104.28S94.98O112.46N86.73D101.02(12)J130.63F126.76M134.38A200.98M156.30J95.56J102.85A175.93

My Asda took all 10 £ 2 . Glade coupons when I handed the in. When I do my weekly shop, I put at least 20 coupons in every time and never buy one of them.. I must shop at one of the good un's. ;D0

my asda will take up to ten percent of the shopping in coupons but won't take wishvalue (depends on the checkout staff) and won't take internet coupons at all. some checkout staff say they will only take one of each coupon but their staff turnover is high so i find it difficult to know who will take more than one. bah humbug! i have quite a selection of coupons arranged in order of expiry date and if i get an operator who says she'll only take one of each coupon i usually manage to find enough different coupons in my pile. really annoyed a checkout operator last week because she refused to take ten £1 vouchers (all for pal dogfood) off my £100 shop. in the end it took her ages longer because i found lots of different coupons all in smaller amounts, hohoho!
also, if i hold up the queue for a long time i pass vouchers to people in the queue behind me to say sorry for taking so long.52% tight0 -
the last two times I shopped at my local asda I was told they only accept 10% of your bill in vouchers. Today at the same store I'd only bought a few bits and asked innocently "do you accept Vouchers?" was told "yes" ang got £2.25 knocked off £8 worth of goods! Crazy! :-/0

I bought a baileys, box of christmas cards and a birthday card, last night. Only bought the cards cause i wanted to give in a £5 nice'n'easy vouches of and she took it. My advice is to uses a few vouchers of smaller bills as the cashiers don't seem to notice. Rather than if you have a shop for about £60 and give £40 worth of vouchers, they then seem to notice.0

mentioned this a few times before :-/ but my local asda will accept vouchers up to a third of total bill :o great for me, as just save them all up and do a big monthly shop for all the basics, save a fortune! ;D they do not however accept wish value or internet coupons at all, so just give up on them. the tons of junk mail I receive is well worth the effort!
must admit policy worked 'cos there is a sainsburys and tesco nearby too and dont tend to use them as any offers they have on asda match them if I produce evidence (leaflets etc). always end up spending more than I intended too 'cos some great bargins/clothes/toys etc :-/ ::)
think they got me sussed!?**************************************
I need someone really bad! Are you really bad?
