Asda flat wine.

Over the weekend my friend bought 3 bottles of sparkling wine from Asda as he does every week. They were all flat. He returned them today and they gave him a refund and 50 pence off each bottle, as it really spoiled his evening as he had friends round for dinner I thought they would have at least given him a voucher for a bit more than £1.50. I'm sure I've read on here people have got something more than this or am I expecting too much for him?

£2 voucher maybe, did he ask for one?

You have to ask at ASDA or they don't give you one.

Thanks BritBrat just thought it would have been maybe a fiver for all three bottles being flat, never mind he wasn't complaining anyway.

I was thinking more of £2 per bottle, but not sure how they do that.

It used to be a £5 voucher at one time.
  • If it was (as you say) Asda's own brand then he's entitled to a full refund and free replacement, or a double refund.

  • When I bought a bottle of corked wine from co-op, they gave me a full refund and allowed me to choose any other bottle or wine free of charge.
