I just got an email from opinionworld, that states soon we will recieve points for completing surveys, instead of cash incentives(points go into account immediately after completing survey). So instead of waiting 4-6 weeks to get your incentive, as soon as you have the points needed you can get your incentive then.

However it doesn't state if these changes will be to all of the surveys they send already, or wether the change is only applicable to the paid surveys that they send out.

I'll keep you all updated, as i'm sure everyone will want to know if OW's change will be for the better.

Kirk from reading the link in the email its just the paid surveys which are now points rewards, and I would expect that unlike the current send it immediately no matter how much they'll set a nice minimum threshold of about £5 for payout - or am I being cynical?
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

yeah £5 is usually the minimum amount on most sites, so it sounds about right.

  • Ciao used to be one of the best, when I first joined I got loads of surveys, and they'd pay out after only £5, so I did fairly well out of them for the first couple of months, but these days hardly ever get any surveys from them. And when I do they're offering paltry rewards for a lot of my time (60 minutes? No thanks!) so I've given up on them.

    Those I use are:
Lightspeed and Valued Opinions (got a few Amazon and Tesco vouchers out of them)
Yougov (a bit infrequent, nowhere near paying out as need £50)
itsyourview.com (again need £50 to pay out, but at several pounds per survey am almost there!)

Hi is anyone a member of Opinion World and have you earned any points ?

I have received lots of surveys but they all seem to offer entry into a prize draw and you don't actually get any 'reward'.

Can anyone shed any light on this ?

I have received cash for about 3 surveys over a long period but usually only the draw ones. There is a long forum on here - I think headed "are these survey sites worth it?" On that, there are discussions on OW & other survey sites. From memory, some people have received good payments from OW but not me. I prefer ConsumerPulse, Valued Opinions, TNS, Harris Poll, Itsyour view.

My points are usually rewarded as Nectar Points and added to that balance.

i've made £9 since january filling in the paid surveys(i've got around £5 pending as well), but i did use to fill out alot of the unpaid ones, so maybe they felt since i was answering the unpaid ones, they'd give me some paid ones as well.
