not sure why everyone hates ciao. i love it have aleady checked out 11 pounds and only been with them a month. no 10p is not alot but it it all adds up especially if you do lots. x

I didn't used to have a problem with them - I made quite a lot from them when the minimum survey payment was at least 50p. I even had two £20 surveys but when they changed their surveys so you were getting 10p for minutes it just wasn't worth my time or effort. I just found that there were better ways to make more money in the same amount of time. Different survey sites seem to work for different people though. Loads of people love valued opinions but they've only sent me a survey in over two years!
    2008: £783.12 - 2009: £6,401.15 - 2010: £4,230.61 - 2011: £8720 - 2012: £2,041.89
    2013: £134.96

2 reasons why I do not like ciao:

1: They will send me surveys which I take a good 20 minutes to fill, and I am not slow at doing surveys! I basicly do the whole survey, answer all the opinionated questions, then -and this happens alot- I get at the end some of the very same screening questions I had at the start. I answer them exactly as I did earlier in the survey (name, age, where I am from..etc) only to be screened out. I have had this happen more times then I can remember! I have contacted ciao numerous times about this, giving the full survey date, time and code of the actual survey along with the payment I will then be missing. Only to get an email back a few weeks later saying they are sorry it has happened, explaining to me the screening process and that I was not applicable- despite doing the entire survey! That or they ask for the survey code- which was actually supplied in the first place. If I email them the code again they send me an email about the screening process!!:wall:

Next problem I have is the delay or non payment- I know that rarely they give away an end date if at all, but for about 3 months I kept tallys, 6 months in total I have been with ciao, they owe me around £20. And £16 of that is from surveys done prior to that 3 month period. Ciao do not always pay up.

I also find they pay a small amount for tedious surveys. When they say 30 minutes- they are not jokeing- I have been doing surveys for years now, I am not slow in the least as I can often anticipate the majority of the questions (screening). Yet the surveys do actually take exactly as long as they say! Heaven forbid anyone new to the site try the same surveys- it would take much longer!

Took me 5 months to get enough for the £5 credit. I have been with them 10 months now. I now have a total of £12.51 in my account- including that £5 I have already had from them (which took over 2 months to come through! )

You need to find a banner ad and join through that - although they can be very hard to find.

Has anyone had a survey sent since the end of December?
I used to get them 3-4 times a week but have had none sent this year. I only need a 50p survey for a voucher!

Well I wish you lots of luck! although they do pay up/have good recommendations from others, I joied them back in August. I have so far done every survey they have thrown at me, being screened out for most of them (I presume as I have no money I am not in thier 'ideal candidate' area. I have earned a whopping £6.00 in 6 months.....

Had no surveys for about a month now.

Had a few in the last few weeks, they seem to come in cycles, a lot at once then a quiet month or two then a load more. Hold on and you'll start getting them again soon.
