  • MySurvey screens me out of virtually every survey since the Lightspeed merge and sometimes I've answered loads of questions before they do

Glad to see Im not the only one. Just do 10 questions before the thumbs down.

Perhaps MSE ought to petition for soem kind of legislation that they can ask for max before ejecting you as sometimes they can get 90% of what they need and that's enough!

There is the survey police site, but from reading the forums I'm not sure if they have the same effect as they once did.

I gave up on MySurvey, cashed out and left. I just got so sick and tierd of three in every four surveys telling me I had an invalid log in or similar. Apparently a technical fault but did my head that they didn't ever seem to fix it months after they started happening.

Does anyone know a way around valued opinions method now whereby if you access a survey on 2 different accounts on the same IP it registers it and doesnt let the 2nd person complete it. often my mum has gone to doa survey only to be annoyed when i have already completed it. Surely they shouldnt let 2 people sign up form the same address if they are going to enforce this?

Onepoll I'm on £3.15 and it's a £40 checkout - I may die before I get there, but I'm too stubborn to give up my £3.15, as my cynical side feels they have a high payout so most people give up before getting there.Definitely go the minute I reach £40 - so currently, about another 7 years! But I do need to login more and check for their surveys, most only 10-15p for completion.

I've followed the advice posted by someone on this thread a while ago about Onepoll, and have found that if you are able to check in the afternoons there tends to be quite a few to do. Once I started doing this I got to my first £40 quite quickly, and am now halfway to my second. I was also impressed by how quickly my payment was received.

Has anyone else had an email from toiletries research/Information by Design, asking what shampoo, conditioner and toiletries you use? I've been asked to do a survey for them, but I don't know who they are or how they got my email address. And the survey offers no reward. Their website seems OK, but I'm still very puzzled and reluctant to respond.

Never heard of them myself but if I had that email and could see no reward of offer I'd email the company and ask if there was any such reward or if they were just spamming for data. I don't mind doing surveys to help out here and there but if a company does it too much or expects it to easily it gets my back up!
If its part of a "bigger picture" what is the bigger picture? (eg being in a magazine article, being a deciding factor in a new brand I may want to buy, being part of a charitable event...etc)

Huh, see mysurveys has been the best for me, I find screening wise it's only ever after the demographics questions (age, where you live etc), not later. Plus, I always get 5 points even if I screen out, so it annoys me less!!!

Will try that with onepoll, thanks!

  • I find one poll the best.

Done a few others over the years and got fed up with being screened out.

Don't know what has happened to You Gov. Think Im just over half way to getting a payout but not had a survey from them in months.
