    thanks everyone for taking the time to post a reply i really appreciate your words of support.I am still worried,scared etc etc and yesterday plucked up the courage yo go to my gp who has now started anti-depressents so hopefuly things can only get better.I am going to ring up for my court date soon (i keep putting it off!)and i know there is a 2 week waiting list,so it shouldnt take too long.I know i can come here and ask you kind people questions so be prepared i worry about worrying!!!!

    I agree with Waspy, you cannot pay arrears to BG, it all has to go into the BR.

    I was talking in reference to general arrears not with bankruptcy, obviously going BC will mean the debt will be included.

    Sorry Shadow, I disagree .. (really don't mean to sound like i'm getting at you here.. :o:o ) .. it is not obvious to everyone, if you are paying higher monthly payments to pay back arrears or paying a higher rate on a prepay meter it might not be "obvious" that these arrears amounts can be included in BR, the utility in question may well kick up a bit of a fuss too before agreeing to reduce the rate on a prepay meter.

    Also suggesting the OP get a prepay meter to pay off arrears after she has already stated in her first post that she is going BR is a bit misleading IMO.

    No not at all, I was following a different bit of the thread that went on about the pre pay system. Its just I love it, never had it before I moved into this property and its a fantastic system. :o
