I applied the 15% and Freedelivery codes and got the reduced trousers - but not a half-price suit.
No combinations applied the advertised offer on a beige suit and I gave up.Under no circumstances may any part of my postings be used, quoted, repeated, transferred or published by any third party in ANY medium outside of this website without express written permission. Thank you.0 -
If anyone's considering this offer, I'd suggest having a look at the suit in store first. I checked it out today, and my personal opinion is it definitely looks like a cheap suit, and isn't as nice as some much cheaper suits in Primark. It's definitely not comparable to the £150+ suits that M&S is known for.0

You gets what you pay for, if you want Armani then you won't get it at this price. If you want a cheap suit for occasional wear then it will do the job.If anyone's considering this offer, I'd suggest having a look at the suit in store first. Tried to get black and beige came up at £70.40 also black/charcoal combo coming up same £70.40 this is after free delivery and 15% discount is taken off.
Looks like i missed out. unless i am doing something wrong?0 -
I think the promo's now ended, as it was detailed on the page before and now there's no mention of either the buy-one-get-one-half-price OR the trousers discount! Too many MSErs buying suits & now M&S has yanked it! :-Ptop 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!

Not that it really matters now, as the deal appears to have been pulled, but I did go and look at the suits yesterday evening - IMO the charcoal and beige (it's not an overtly light colour, I would call it biscuit!) are perfectly decent suits, and not obviously cheap.
The black one is potentially the only one that looks like its price, but I didn't think it was terrible by any means.
If anyone is unhappy with their purchases, they can be returned to an M&S store, so there's pretty much nothing to lose for the people who took up this offer.

I have just checked my order online and the suits seem to have changed to just two pair of trousers and I cannot find a trace of the jackets, either for dispatch or having been dispatched.

I have sent them an email to see what is going on, maybe somebody else wants to check there order.
MartinBeen there, done that, now I want to do it cheaper!!0 -
Mine is still showing ok and a del date of 3-6th july, but from past experience I wouldn't be surprised if they cancelled.0

I emailed M & S to ask why my jackets had gone from my order.
As I expected, they are now saying they have run out of sotck of the jackets and had cancelled my order but were still sending me the trousers.
Rather than being able to cancel online, I have to wait for delivery and then refuse it or go to any M & S and I will get a refund.
Seems a waste as I do not want the trousers without the jacket as they will not keep the price.
As a good will gesture they have added £5 to my account, which was nice of them.
So, if anybody get's the suits, well done, if not never mind.
Oh, if anybody gets two jackets size 40r, I will buythem off you, or if anybody needs some trousers, I will sell them you for £100, :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Only joking, good post though, I think we may have made them see a good deal.

Mine still shows the jackets and says despatching soon, but I am not holding my breath. Although I am on holiday from Saturday so sods law dictates that the full order will arrive 5 mins after we leave and end up going back to M & S unclaimed! But I wouldn't be majorly dissapointed if they credited me £5 either!0
