working too hard?

Options
hi all!

i have recently taken on a bar job in a nightclub to top up my wages from my full time job. the plus point is i save the money i would have spent on going out, whilst earning money at the same time.

the only problem is that it is really tiring me out. i work from 7.30 till 5 monday to friday and the bar job is friday and sat nights, starting at 10.00 and finishin at 5.00am! this means nearly all my life seems like work...

i am wondering if it is worth keepin it going, because if i do, i can have my loan cleared in 1 year, but its very hard work. but like they say you dont get anythin without hard work.

anyway im tryin to decide what to do so can anyone offer any advice please?

Well can't really help but I'm about to take on a second job to try and get my self out of debt. Work Monday - Friday 9-5 then I'm trying to get a second job in Asda on nights (10pm to 6am Friday and Saturday night.)

I know its going to be very hard work but its something I will have to do :(

We'll get there in the end!
  • ooooo. the temptations of having a loan paid off in a year that is a BIG temptation.

but it does mean life = work and sleep.

I wouldn't be able to keep that commitment going for a year. Even having a really strict budget has killed me, I must have some time and money unfortunately.

I think you should trial it for three months. see how you feel. if it really is getting you down then stop. if not carry on and review every month or so?
    Nevertheless she persisted.
