Buying a masonry barbecue

Hi all...

After a bit of advice please, i am looking at buying a masonry barbecue and dont really want to spend more than £300.00

Just wondered if anyone has purchased a masonry barbecue and can recommend any sites either online or in the east midlands?

I have looked online already and the price seems to be set at around the £300 to £1500 mark, ideally i would like a barbecue that you can also have a fire with - the cheapest one i saw like this was £400!!!

Any help appreciated!!

    Hi we bought one last year from Garden Oasis. (Online) Their info and service was great. It seems they have only one type now but at a cost of £324.95 inc delivery it seems good (the model they have now is bigger than ours)
    Here's the link;

    They come delivered to the roadside by pallet so you would need 2 strong people to unwrap it and piece by piece move it to correct location. We found that ours we easy to assemble (you have to cement the pieces together), we then,as the finish was almost like breeze block look, put a thin coating of cement (we brushed this on) and then when dry painted it. It seems like a lot of work but only needs doing once and is certainly worth it.
    Hope this helps
