Thanks Linda, I was very scared what people would say to my SOA as I know we are very lucky to have the income we do have and should be bloody grateful, I can't believe how much money we have just wasted and frittered away over the last few years

Thats exactly how I feel so you aren't the only one, I put myself in this stupid position! but you know what you and I are doing something to get out it, it will stop from now on!

Just wanted to welcome you and offer hugs!

oh and I am going to put my credit cards in a lunch box half filled with water and freeze them in the freezer! cos I do what you do to!

and I have this to use as spending diary

    http://www.spendingdiary.com/

    good luck!

Well, I'm not very good at this so far, there is no wonder we have ended up in such a mess as I can't even add up properly

Our total income is still £3865.88
But our total outgoings (inc min payments on cc's) £3178.83
so our net disposable income is £687.05

out of that we have to save for xmas/holidays/haircuts/birthdays etc pay elec bill when it comes and save to pay for oil for heating as well as trying to make a dent in our credit cards as we are only paying the minimum at the moment and not getting anywhere

    really depressed now

on a positive note, I have added up what we owe in total again and it is slightly less (by about £5k)

I think our DFW date is a bit unrealistic as we would have to pay over £1k a month off all our debts and assume no interest was going to be charged!, I just feel like this is going to take forever and we will never be free of this
