Hi people - my son aged 13 is in a size 10 mens shoe - shoe manufacturers don't make his size in children's ranges. Do you think I can claim tax back for his shoes as children's clothing is not liable for vat? and anyone know how I would do that? thanks in advance to any experts out there

Thanks for the above info have been trawling the net trying to find out if any tax refund for VAT on shoes especially. I have 10 and 11 year old boys who both take size 8 mens shoes, football boots, astros and trainers. It is costing me an absolute fortune. I don't think they are ever going to stop growing!!!!0
