cheap but good hoover?

after a temper tantrum with my current hoover tonight i am now hooverless, much to my girlfriends annoyance lol

things are tightish moneywise leading up to xmas, can anyone reccomend a decent upright hoover for decent cash? i saw the LG VUP255NB Upright Cleaner in argos for £35 from £40 so am just looking for reviews now. can anyone find a decent one for £60 tops?

would it be worth buying a 2nd hand dyson from ebay?

I wouldnt touch a dyson especially not one from ebay, i got a pure power hoover vacum and its been great but found this one for £49 plus ££7.50 delivery
