If I search my name on the Registry Trust website (to find out if I have any CCJs), pay £8 to have the search sent to me at my new address, will my previous creditor(s) know that (a) I've searched my name, and (b) will they know my new address?

A previous creditor wouldnt know that you have done a search but as the information on the register is public domain if you are a bit wary have you got a friend/family member to apply for the search for you? That way they can request a search of your name but it will be sent to them with their name and address?

Thanks for the advice. I do have someone who can search my name and have it sent to their address. But, I'm confused.. Would this search be registered? Would any creditors of mine be able to know that my friend searched my name and had the report sent to them at their address? If so, would they make contact with my friend?0 -
Does anyone know any more about this?0
