    How cheap?

I have a jolly powerful hoover and a variety of drinking straws :p

    Sorry :o

I'm not sure that 'cheap' and 'cosmetic surgery' are words that I would want to appear in the same sentence. Surely this sort of thing ought to come from a very good personal recommendation?

It isn't really a travel question?

Maybe better on the Health and Beauty board?

The backs of womens' glossy magazines such as Cosmopolitan are full of ads for cosmetic surgery, how 'good' these places are I have no idea.
  • hahaha... i am on the wrong board sorry...

i work in this field. our cost is usually £3295 for an initial area, and goes up in increments of approx £400 for each extra area if performed at the same time. not everyone is suitable, and it is not an alternative to diet and exercise.

I would suggest checking out local companies to you, and ask to see a consultant surgeon, not a nurse. Make sure it is a private hospital and not a clinic, and ask questions re GMC registrations etc.

i hate saying this, but be prepared to be turned down if you are considered generally overweight. if you are, a surgeon will probably ask you to lose some weight first. Lipo is for stubborn areas of fat that you cannot shift after diet and exercise.

I have 2 girlfriends who have had this treatment & both wish they hadn't.
Not because they had any really nasty experiences, or anything, just not worth the £$£ or the stuff you need to go through.

One has verrrry hard thighs now, which she would prefer not to .

They're fat birds, so they're grateful for whatever they can get :rotfl:
