  • Using your employers reference (found on your P60 or payslip) you can use the HMRC tax office locator to gain the right address.

I hope that this helps you.

    Hi Snowbrow

I had the same problem with that website. I managed to get the tax office number from my personnel dept at work, the number i rang was 0845 3021432 where i was advised to send my p60 to the Bradford office to see if im due a rebate. The address they gave was HMRC, Centenary Court, 1 St Blaise Way, Bradford, BD1 4YL

    Hope it helps

Have you contacted the tax office yet, it may be possible to get your repayment without sending in your P60- contact them and see if they already have your information on the systems and if you can verify your employment history they can do the repayment via the telephone.

Just enter first 3 digits (before "/") into box, it will give correct address.
All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy.

constantly leaves me on hold or hangs up on me when i ring!!

But have written to them now so hopedully should hear back by 2010!!
  • HI

Please bear im mind that the three digit number on your P60 is for that particular employment. If you have changed employer since you may need to send it to a different office. If you do send it to the wrong office it will be directed to the correct one but this process can put a couple of weeks extra waiting time on a claim. If anyone needs to check a correct address I'd say its always to give your local tax office (or any tax office for that matter) a quick call to check which is the correct office. It doesnt matter if your local office is your particular tax office they will be able to give you the correct address.
