First Plus Fob Off Letter

Dear All

Am currently pursuing a PPI misselling claim with First Plus (loan still current). I have now received my first fob off letter claiming that they have listened to all the conversations and feel that we were dealt fairly with and agreed to everything.

I am now going to request all the taped conversations as I don't agree with this at all.

Is this a fairly standard first reponse from First Plus i.e. make it sound so convincing that they hope you'll give up.

Would appreciate any advice as it's a emotional minefield

Cheers

Feebs

I think this will be par for the course with most lenders.

You are right to ask for a transcription of the conversations and in your next letter you should ask them for a "final response within 4 weeks and must advise that failure to satisfactorily deal with this complaint within the regulated time periods for complaints as set down by the FSA will result in a claim being made to the Financial Ombudsman"

If their response is still not satisfactory you can then take this through the Financial Ombudsman scheme - it won't cost you anything to do this.
