If I want to buy rings and things....do I have to go up to the jewellery counter or can I just punch the numbers in the usual stock checker machines?

I don't usually bother with jewellery and both my daughter and myself suffer from eczema if we wear it....but my son is after rings for his fiance for xmas.

Any advice on how to chase down a jewellery bargain gratefully received.

I was picking up my Dyson and as normal did a check of my numbers first just in case there was anything else in stock I might want to reserve before I went to the tills.Having seen the airer was, I decided to the pay machines and try my luck.
I thought Id been rumbled when one of the staff was studying my reciept rather intently and by this stage I nearly bottled out.
After waiting ages they brought both items out and I couldnt get out of there quick enough!!
Shaking like a leaf springs to mind.

Any time I've tried at the stock checker it usually says something about pay/collect at jewellery counter'.

Then the till at the jewellery counter will say whether the item is in stock or not.

I've had the same message on the stock checker regardless of whether the item has actually been in stock or not. :-/

I,m sure anyone who can get a £15 printer of RO list should have no problems finding a 100 lb turkey on there too..... tho it could be from a couple of catologues back, so best stick to Iceland.
Glad you impressed with my Crash course in jewelry aliasjo, I would like to add that the ring itself is a sorta goldie colour. Theres a good chance that one of them is still in stock in Leicester too.

With thew rings I punched numbers into the stock checker machine first and it came up with something like go to jewelry counter. I asked about the £25 one on list first that was outa stock but the 3 at £49.99 (from £200 ) could all be ordered in to look at in the required size, store was going to ring me, hadnt yet, so went in today to see and were all in.
