Morning All!!

Just to let you know that, after my weekend of completely neglecting the argos lists, they're back up-to-date!! The items confirmed on the "new" RO lists are highlighted green, and there were a few of them, but also note that there were a few new items added to the old lists as well - just so they don't get lonely ;D

Thanks Stumpy! Gonna pick up a Toolkit and a 3 room viewing kit today! (as long as they come in). Will bash some more codes in!! Even though they refused my the RO list I have been getting a few RO things . That will teach them!

Can I ask what night seem like obvious questions:-
1. Are these sale prices available in all Argos stores or only the Extra stores?
2. Whenever I ring the store I get "I'm sorry this item is no longer in catalogue and this store has none in stock."
Is this a normal failure?
3. Has anybody managed to get any bargains out of the Canterbury store?

1.Someone can correct me if I am wrong but most of the RO stock has been retrurned to the main warehouse. some items have been returned to suppliers and some will be distributed to only extra stores (at least that seems the trend with some stores being designated RO stores and get more stock)
2.This is normal, unfortunately most of the stock has gone now, its better to nip in store and punch the codes into the checkers you might just get lucky.
3. Cant answer that one, but I can guess they have ;D

Guys I need some help.

I purchased the new ps2 package from argos on 7th Nov, New PS2, Controller and dvd remote and a game all for £104.00.

I got the ps2 home and set it up, then realised that they'd given me the old ps2 (that was retailing at £79.99) and 2 dvd remotes and no controller.

I rang customer services and they advised me to go to the store and i may be able to get a refund of the price difference. I went to my store on sunday14th and they refused to pay the difference but did swap the dvd remote for a controller, no Argos stores have the new ps2 for me to swap.

Argos told me that the old ps2 and new are the same price for the package and wont do anything about their mistake.

This morning I spent 30 mins speaking with customer service again and they have now advised me my options are get a refund or keep the console i have.


I dont want a refund as the offer i purchased for £104.00 is no longer on and has been replaced with an offer which is not so good.

At the end of the day they made a mistake but are not willing to rectify the problem. I need to know what I should do next?!?!?!?!?!!?!?

Not strictly the Argos sale, but a money saving tip none the less. Game stores are offering some of the new release PS2 and XBOX games for £7.99 if you trade in 4 games for the same console.
For the PS2 games, you could save £16 or more on the new release game, by buying 2 x 064 0800 (PS2 2 game pack) @ £7.50 each from Argos, if you can get them. Take these to Game, and trade them in for the saving on the new game.

R O = Run off list - end of line

You won't know what store has what left unless you go in and put the codes in on the little blue machines, it will say what is available in store or to order at till to be delivered whenever.

Check these post as people put codes on here and tell you what stores they have been in and what is available. Everyone tries to help each other,so if you do find something at a particular store, post it on here

It is trial and error, if you go in different stores they usually have something although there isn't as much as when it first started, all the best electrical stuff has now gone as this sale has been on a long time, but keep trying codes and stores and you will come up with something. Each day people post that they have found another bargain

just got back from argos with 3 elesse watches and ..... some batteries. 45 packets went in minutes. not me honestly i just got the last few

more watches due in on thursday.!!!!
