Amazon price drop refunds

Options
Hi and apologies if in wrong section .
I know that ther was a pric drop cash back from amazon but does it still apply .
I purchased a kitchenaid for my wife last week at 179.99 but see its now going for 149.99 so £30 quid difference which would be better in my account .
Could any of you very nice people tell me if it still applies and if you how to go about it .
thanks

Should be still available. You need to send them an email stating all the details including order number & the prices & they will send you an email back confirming that they've refunded the difference. Usually sorted within 24 hours!

    Hi

If you go to the home page on Amazon and scroll to the bottom you can click on the customer services link. Then click on the contact us link. From there you can log in and select the order you are querying and explain that you have paid more and they will email you confirming that they will refund you the difference. I believe you have 30 days but a little unsure but I know I claimed several pounds back just after xmas and it was very easy to do so.

    Good luck

  • Hi,

I used this method within the last 2 weeks and good a refund for the price difference.

    Log into your Amazon account
Click on 'view orders placed in the last 6 months'
    Copy the Amazon.co.uk order number:
Click on the item to see if the price has dropped
Click on 'Help' followed by Contact Us, 'Customer Service'
Once you've found the right order click on Contact Amazon, copy in the order reference number and explain you'd like a refund as the price has dropped.

    Hope this helps:T

    Try pricealerter
    http://www.pricealerter.co.uk/

You can set it to email you if the item you bought has dropped within 30 days, or any item you may want to buy if at a better price.
It saves you from checking the price every day.
