Special Delivery Letter from Glasgow

Can anyone help, we have been left a card from the Postman today saying he tried to deliver a Special Delivery Letter, I tracked the letter online and can see it was posted in Glasgow but that is all, we owe money to Citifinancial after offering them reduced payments which they have refused we have had no contact for a month or so, I am now really scared what would be sent by Special Delivery, my OH also said the Inland Revenue letters come from Glasgow so now I am terrified !!! Please help

You don't have a choice if you want to know what's in it - you will have to go to the Sorting office, show some ID, sign for it then open it!

If you don't collect it the Royal Mail will hold it for 21 days before returning it to the sender, telling them that you haven't called for it. But that won't do you any good whatsoever as the sender (that's if it IS who you think) will escalate their pursuit of you.

Please remember - what is in the letter is strictly between the sender and the receipient - all that Royal Mail does is transfer the letter from one to the other. Not collecting it will not stop the communication. Hope this helps.

We werent thinking about not collecting it, I just know I will not sleep or anything until I can collect it tomorrow morning as I am such a worrier, just wanted to know if anyone else had a simliar experience and may be able to shed some light on who it is from.
