Only really me and OH like custard, especially when I make it with cream! Straight to my ample hips but never mind.

Beef was actually very nice, roasties turned out well and the crumble was yummy. Not doen very much as friend came round for lunch, she also did some sewing for me (did I ever mention how much I hate sewing, would rather iron and stick pins in my eyes than sew!). She also sorted out my bedroom curtains which keep jumping off the rail at every opportunity.
Managed to deliver the last Avon parcel so onto my final order. Things are really tight for the next couple of weeks until OH gets his normal wages. Not too sure how we are going to cope as both cars need feeding and we only have £10 to last and Old mother hubbard probably has more in her cupboards. think its going to be lots of things with beans!

My henny's aren't laying stillbut they didnt stop all through winter last year. Any tips?
Hope the cupboards provide more than beans - although I like beans very much - we need to go back to our nights when we have 'something on toast' for tea.

Beans and maybe for a special occasion jacket spud! I know the excitement is killing me. A nice day today so off to ride. Might finally get some washing out and dried.

Took the children riding and the boys were good as well as the children. Managed to get my raspberry canes thinned and the new canes tied in. 1 load of washing dried and all the ironing doe. It just needs to be put away. Made a couple of lots of pastry to put in the freezer as well as using some for tea. For tonights tea we are having sausage and apple pie with mash and cabbage, followed by jam sponge and a smidgen of cream as we haven't got very much.
Poor OH was supposed to be going to the opticians but he has been called out on a shout. it is a bad one so he is going to be a while. 3 children to school tomorrow. DS1 back on Wednesday nut is going down to the farm to help them.

That sounds like a lovely tea considering you've got very little in.
We are on storecupboard/freezer challenge as we need to empty them so we'll probably end up with some very strange meals instead of the lovely stuff you cunjour up.0 -
tea has been scoffed and OHs is waiting for him in the microwave. Probably having spag bol tomorrow night, then tomato pasta and beef done in the slowcooker for Thursday Friday will be a surprise as I haven't a clue what to cook then.
