More questions

I posted here last week about our debts and I would like to thank you for all your help,anyway back to my point.I spoke to my dh and he agreed that our debts are getting silly now.
So last night we phoned cccs and they were very helpful are going to phone back in 2 weeks for a proper look at everything now I wonder if you can all help 2 years ago me and dh split up for a while and he had £12000 in debt and as he didnt work went through cab who set up paying back £1 a month to 1 of the cards he owed money to the others another 3 never got back to him and still havent.
Myself and the person at cccs said to contact them and see what is going on our new address etc and to work out payments but he has said today no they will never find me.
Sorry for the waffle I just want this sorted I dont want to set up payments and work through them only to get a knock at the door in 3 years from these creditors etc.
So has anyone got any words of advice to say to him to point out its best to let them know

I am assuming at the moment the CCCS are suggesting a DMP rather than BR? Or are they just suggesting keeping everyone off your backs untill you have sorted things out?
