Closing down sale at 4 Woolworth stores in London

The Woolworth stores at Chapel Market (Islington), Chiswick High Street, Clapham Junction and Edgware Road are closing shortly (to be replaced by Waitrose).

These shops are advertising "closing down clearouts" of "up to 70% off".

I went into the Chiswick branch today and saw a giant TV down from £1200 to £600 but apart from that, I didn't really notice much else on sale yet.

I dare say there'll be more bargains during the next few weeks as the actual closing dates approach...

There was a lot of deals in the branch at Edgware rd, London. Bought a set of kettle + iron + toaster for £7.50 ( reduce from £ 15). They got the HP photosmart C4180 for £ 49.99 ( reduce from £99) and lots more toys.

i work in one and all stock is going, nothing will be left, they are not shipping stock out these stores! all will be marked down more weekly till the prices are ridiclious! theres a lot of stuff to go, not all is on sale,some stuff is getting marked up etc. behind the scenes!
