Thanks everyone
It will be in a months time when I have worked my notice. Bit of a debate going on as to whether it is 4 weeks notice or a calendar month. Note to managers: get a life!

just when everything seems to be looking up.
i get a loan agreement through the post to sign- what OH has applied for without telling me- in joint names. £2000 plus PPI.
we alrady have in excess of £55'000 debt. Myultimatum a few months back was- any more credit and i will leave you taking your children with me.
we made a joint decision to apply for a credit card each at the weekend- its 0% for 13 months on balance transfers and we are having one each. we have done this to trasnfer some debt from the high interest cards firstly, then move down to pay off the rest.
i received the loan paper work this morning- opened it quite excitedly thinking it was the credit cards 0% interest. i text oh to say- what is this, why have you done it, i told you no more credit or i would leave you etc. edit to add: although i know he is at work, i am now p'd off cos hes turned his phone off. seemingly avoiding having to explain himself.
most of our debt, well ALL of our debt has been arranged by oh, its all in joint names due to my own stupidity. i recently took on a 3rd job to pay extra off our debt- which nearly made me ill, id taken too much on and had to pack it in. it set my bad back off whats more, so now im contending with this again.
i know this is nothing to do with earning £10 a day, but i felt like this was the place i was safest and most comfortable with writing it.
please advise me someone.

Noggin doesnt matter that its not about the challenge, at the end of the day we're all here to help everyone regardless of what they post.
Maybe wait until OH gets home tonight and sit down and talk to him about it. Is it too late to cancel the loan?
Im not great with debt advice, but take it one step at a time. i'm sure someone else will have better advice soon x0 -
you need to speak to him face to face about this has he said what he took the loan out for?
im sure you must be able to cancel it as you havent sent the agreement back and the money isnt in your bankExtra payment every week challenge £15 so far

Noggin definately speak to your OH about the loan. Good luck
I have £3.65 to add to my total . Haven't done very well at all in July - here's to a better August.£2 savers club 2025 #40 -
I made a whole £1.02 today. Been doing a few surveys and the usual.
Noggin - I think you should be able to contact them and say you havent signed nor agreeing to this loan. Then he can pursue it himself if he wants.
Then you need to discuss with OH - let us know how it goes £10 or not.0 -
Thank you everyone for you kind words
Ok, so DH eventually rung me back when turned his phone back on, apparently he got in trouble on his course because it kept ringing out...... so... I went in there feet first, just for a change, and had a proper screaming fit at him, telling him- im not doubling my hours and putting my children in day care for you to get us in the same "sh*t" that you have previously... blah blah, for him to say- "right, are you finished now?". He then went on to explain that the paperwork wasn't actually for a loan, it was for what the bank like to call a repayment plan (for our overdraft- £2000limit), and basically tey pay your overdraft off then you pay them monthly.
they have sent it out before, now i have stopped screaming and think about it- last time i caled them for something or other. weve told them before we dont want it, but they still send the paperwork everytime we ring
So, I obviously then muttered "sorry" in my quietest voice, then told DH- if you weren't such a "t**t" in the passed with money, we wouldn't have this trust issue now.
He promised yet again that he wouldn't ever get any credit again as he knows we'll end up beyond help. And I was left with a big fat piece of humble pie to eat after my dinner.:embarasse
*ahem*... anyway, back to the challenge... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: :rolleyes:0 -
Noggin - mmm, well, at least you have the ressurance, and if he's not wanting to do it then its all ok. Lol. Never mind. So, um.... how is that challenge going0
