    Hi

I'm a newbie to posting on this site, although I have been lurking on the boards for quite a while ;)

I just wanted to say thankyou for push that I needed to start saving some money to help with becoming DF.

When I first started reading this thread on the 1st July I did think it was slightly mad but now I'm slightly addicted to finding ways to increase my daily total.

This is what I have so far..

£35 - Quidco joined on the 1st July (I know it won't start paying out until at least october but I'm soo pleased).
    £17 - amazon sales
£30 - Credit from Phone Company which I never would have got round to sorting
£10 - recylcing old mobile phones
£4 - tesco clubcard vouchers that I had never received in post, which again I would never have chased

    Total of £96

So a BIG thanks to all for the ideas and the PUSH.

    I think you're all a bit wonderful :D

Posted my latest 2 books sold through Amazon today and got stung on the postage for one of them - £1.45 instead of 66p for 2nd class. It was obviously too thick to go in the slot. Bit annoyed really as this means I have made the grand total of 36p profit for that one!

I shall definitely have to check some of my listings – if there are any others that might be too thick and going for low prices I shall have to remove them and give them to charity instead. Just not worth it!

Ive just worked out and have done quite well so far, which is good as i may struggle to keep it up for the rest of the month.

Ebay 26.89 (more ending this weekend)

Sold 3 items in local paper £50

Saved £9 on gifts - Book for mums bday almost paid £9 on Amazon, bought for £1 new on Ebay! (plus p&p) Then saved money on a Fifi gift for my dd 2nd bday too

Saved £7.62 on weekly shopping budget of £50 also

    Total £73.51

    I am really enjoying this
