FrugalPam, thats quite bad isn't it. What a muppet! Thing is, some people would just accept it wouldn't they. Good for you anyway that you sorted him out.

I've got one 1 item on ebay at the moment, but it's buy it now- £249, so I REALLY hope it sells! :D

I was fuming about it  Ebay said they're 'investigating' my complaint but I'll not hold my breath about it :p Anyway, I've blocked him from bidding on any of my things in future.
Also dealing with another muppet who sold me an item that's so shoddy its untrue - there are some real horrors on that site.

Good luck for your sale !!

Ebay seems to be overunning with muppets since the feedback rule changes as now they know they can get away with it and there is not much you can do as a seller when someone is being a pain in the !!!!!.

I'm going to a conference Monday/Tuesday which includes sessions with Ebay staff so I am going to try and find out how they are finding the changes as I really think it must be effecting their numbers. With all the cheap listing days they keep trying to tempt us with it looks like people are going elsewhere to sell their items

    Thanks Pam.
That's the thing what puts me off Ebay, all the fruits that use it! I used to Ebay alot but stopped doing so a few months back cos of some muppet really upset me and lied that a brand new item was faulty etc etc. Dragged me through a big dispute and it put me off using it.
I posted a bundle of girls clothing items out last week- about £30-40 worth, all near new, for like £2 or something, and all the buyer wrote was "ok" as feed back. Got my goat a bit.
Another buyer has written that i took ages to post an item (acution ended on a friday, i posted wednesday the week after), ALL my listings clearly say "ALL ITEMS WILL BE DISPATCHED TUESDAY/WEDNESDAY IF PAYMENT CLEARED ON TIME" on them. so how was I late posting?! doh! If they didn't want to wait until the following week they shouldn't have bid.

    anyway... stress done... :o
I worked yesterday at my little Saturday job (I count this towards my challenge as it's my only real source of extra income, and it is in addition to my regular income from my first two jobs). So that is £43.13 to add to my sig. Finally off the mark! I seem to be going really slow this month- but I've got a few bits and pieces on their way to me which I won't count until I've actually got the money in my little hand. :D

It's my birthday tomorrow boys and girls, I want to hear lots of singing... :p:rotfl:

a question from a newbie. do you put the money you have saved from the £10 a day challenge into a separate pot or does it stay in your bank account?

At the moment mine is all over the place...in the house pot, in the bank account and paypal. I ntend at the end of each month to move it across to my online savings account and keep it there till it builds to a reasonable amount, then pay off what I need to.
